Inglish+ Privacy Policy

Conversion and dictionary lookup run locally. Inglish+ does not send your typing, conversion text, dictionary searches, or unknown-word suggestions to us. The native keyboards use keystrokes and nearby text locally for inserting text, capitalization, deleting text, and cursor movement. They do not record or transmit your typing. On iOS, the keyboard does not request Full Access.

The app has no advertisements, usage analytics, tracking SDKs, or Inglish+ account registration. Fonts are supplied locally by your device.

Preferences and dictionary data are stored on your device until you clear app data or remove them using your device controls. System backups and restoration follow your device settings.

Inglish+ may contact the Inglish Project update service over HTTPS. The request includes the app version, operating-system platform, and processor architecture. It contains no text you enter and no persistent user identifier added by Inglish+.

Our update service is hosted by Vercel. As with any internet request, Vercel receives the connection's IP address and technical request metadata to deliver and secure the service. We do not use update requests to track your activity. Our update endpoint does not maintain a user database or intentionally store request data.

Vercel's standard customer-visible runtime logs on our current Hobby plan expire after one hour. That period does not describe all security, billing, or operational records Vercel may retain under its own policies. See Vercel's privacy policy. Desktop updates may download a signed app package when you choose to install one. iOS and Android updates are supplied through their app stores.

Links you open in a browser and separate AI clients you choose to connect are governed by those services' privacy policies. Their operation is separate from Inglish+'s local converter and keyboards. Inglish+ is free to use, with no purchases, subscriptions, advertisements, or paid features.

For privacy questions or requests to delete data relating to correspondence or update-service records, contact yoorztruely@inglishproject.org. Text processed only on your device is not available to us to retrieve or delete.

We will update this policy if our practices change and identify the effective date here. This policy describes Inglish+, not the separate Inglish Project website or external AI services.
